Block Swap Addiction

I have been a member of Quilting Block Swaps Australia for a while now in their paper piecing club. I enjoy the precision of paper piecing and have had the opportunity to make some lovely blocks. I would probably never have looked twice at some of the patterns I have been requested to make, but have learnt so much more through this process. Here are some of the blocks I have made and sent to my lovely block swap partners. I have also received beautiful blocks which I will share another day, once they are in a quilt.

This first Block is called Indian Summer and it has been put together two ways.

The second variation is known as the God's Eye version.

The next  2 blocks were for the same swap partner. The block to the left is called Toothed Star and the block below New Star.

This last block is named Night and Day.

It is a bit like Chirstmas every 2 months receiving the posted block from my swap partners.

Sunny Days

I am still working on my Sunflower Quilt and am now making tiny hexies for a part of the quilt and have finished another flower block. This quilt is going to be so bright.

There are still a few blocks to go, but progress is being made.
Happy stitching
