Slogging Away at it

I am slogging my way through my Finish Along list. I try to do too many projects at once. Do you find this is the case for yourself and is it a good thing or a bad thing?

Here is my progress so far.

One item checked off - see last post.

Lately I have been flitting between three quilts which I hope to finish before December.

The heart quilt. The top is complete but I haven't taken a photo since it was two thirds completed. I love the jelly bean fabric for the zig zag.

My second quilt is the star quilt. The top and label are completed and I just need to piece the back. This will be a brightly backed quilt when it is finished.

Thirdly,  this sweet quilt is a kit from Connecting Threads called Georgia's Quilt. the colours are so pretty and it has a lovely soft look. The top is almost completed but I have been working on the top and the backing at the same time.

The halfway joined top.

This is just a small taste of the 20 or so projects I have on the go. It seems that every time I cross one off I add two more. At least they keep me happy.

Have a wonderful time enjoying all of your projects.

I am linking up with Crazy Mom Quilts for Finish it up Friday.

Happy stitching.

  2. Love all your quilts, especially the Sparkle Plenty quilt. I'd love to have you link up to Finished or Not Fridays each week!

  3. nice projects. I too have too many starts, but thats ok. I am not the kind of person who can start a project and move from start to finish without detours. As for now, my strategy is to start from the top down on my 3 work tables and finish projects as I clean (as I go).
